Joe Biden -- Wrong About Everything

America is diminished, our enemies are emboldened, our allies are dismayed, and Joe Biden's crappy policy decisions are to blame.

Joe Biden has made a mess in Afghanistan. The optics of the Taliban parading about in billions of dollars of US equipment is awful, but the fate of the Afghan people under the theocratic, repressive rule of a band of 7th century cave dwellers is even worse.

The Biden Administration has claimed that this fiasco was a resounding success, and that they planned out every contingency.

Recent leaks and revelations make it obvious that is a lie.

There were always only a few ways that our withdrawal could have played out. Each of those scenarios have a few obvious requirements.

The US withdraws and the Taliban loses to the ANA: This would require extensive use of aircraft for transport and close air support, as well as drones and other advanced technology. This outcome looked unlikely in the spring of 2021 as the Taliban was on the move, capturing several provincial capitals and winning a number of battles. Joe Biden destroyed any chance of this scenario when he abruptly withdrew US forces from Bagram and then cut off access to civilian contractors that maintain all the equipment. This scenario was unlikely, and Joe made it impossible with his denial of support.

The US withdraws, and the Taliban wins slowly: This was the most likely scenario, but only the ANA had air support and technical assistance to survive the summer offensive. The abrupt withdrawal in the middle of the fighting season, as opposed to waiting until winter when the Taliban can’t operate effectively, doomed the country to collapse.

Quick Collapse and Chaos: The Biden administration claims they had no idea this would happen, and also that they knew this would happen and planned for this scenario. It turns out that Joe knew in May that the Taliban was winning. He told the Afghan President to ‘change the perception’ that he was losing so Joe could move ahead with his plans to abandon the country to the Taliban. It became clear in the ensuring chaos that the Biden administration screwed this up in many ways, not the least of which is giving up Bagram Airbase, the one strategic asset that would have allowed a safe and organized withdrawal.

In summary, Joe knew that the Taliban was on the move. He banned civilian contractors from supporting the ANA, and he gave up strategic positions without conferring with the Afghans, and then ordered full retreat without conferring with our allies.

In the end, he turned the country over to the Taliban, gifted them billions in military equipment, and left hundreds of Americans behind.

Is this raw incompetence? Was this entirely motivated by political considerations like the 20th anniversary of 9/11, or getting it over with before the midterm elections?

Bad Policy? Or Impeachable Malfeasance?

Are you wearing a mask as ordered?

You have been told that covering your face is virtuous, and double masking is even better. You think you are wearing a mask to protect the public health during a pandemic. You have been told to live in fear, and to cover your face to signal your social value. You have been told we are all in this together.

You have been convinced that children and teens must be muzzled, and that waiters and grocery workers must be masked. You have been told that not wearing a mask makes you a bad, selfish, person. Perhaps you have even internalized that message, and you believe all of this pseudo-scientific nonsense. After all, we must obey the rules.

The social elites don’t obey these rules. The social elites aren’t afraid of what they are telling you to be afraid of. The social and political ruling class in this country is above all that nonsense.

They party at the Grammy’s with nary a mask in sight. They attend the Met Gala with uncovered faces. They party with each other in Napa, or a night club, no mask, no social distance. They travel to Washington while infected with COVID on airplanes without masks, then hold photo op sessions without masks. They put the masks on for a moment every now and then, but when they think you’re not looking, or when they just don’t care, they take the masks off.

They don’t follow the rules.

The mask doesn’t mark you as a virtuous warrior against the pandemic. It marks you as a scared, subservient peasant to be ruled over by the elites.

It marks you as a part of the underclass that is required to follow the rules. Look at the Met Gala pictures. The rich, the glamorous, the powerful are all maskless. The waiters, the make up artists, the busboys, the servant class, are all forced to wear masks.

Every man woman and child in California is required to wear a mask. Unless, that is, you are attending a Democrat party fundraiser in Napa. Then you can sit shoulder to shoulder without masks. The underclass waitstaff, of course, are fully masked. But not the important people.

There was a time in America where we did not have a class-based system. Well, no longer.

If you are wearing a mask it demonstrates that you lack political or social standing. It marks you as a member of the class that serves the elites with bended knee.

Which class do you aspire to be a part of? The social and political elites who are enjoying personal freedom or the subservient, kowtowing, mask-wearing underclass?

Employees of companies with more than 100 people are a deadly threat to public health who must be mandated to receive the vaccine, but people who work for small companies are totally fine.

Unvaccinated people who have jobs, drive the economy, and support their families are vectors of transmission for the virus who must be punished, but unvaccinated people who are on welfare are totally fine.

Large employers must mandate vaccines to protect the public health, unless you are the 500,000 employee US Postal Service, in which case they are exempt because they are totally fine.

Requiring ID for voting is irredeemably racist but requiring ID when you are forcibly vaccinated is totally fine.

Unvaccinated people pose a threat to others because they might get sick, spread the virus to others, then likely die. Vaccinated people, who can get sick, spread the virus to others, and likely not die, are totally fine.

The new anti-abortion law in Texas is a human rights violation because the “The right of women to make decisions about their own bodies is not negotiable”, but mandating those same women inject an experimental vaccine treatment into their body is totally fine.

Let’s see if I understand this week’s news correctly:

The Pentagon admitted that in an effort to look tough and retaliate against ISIS for a deadly terrorist attack that killed 13 US Marines, Joe Biden murdered an innocent aid worker and his young children via drone strike.

Inflation is under control, as long as you factor out food, gasoline, building materials and other commodities that have seen massive spikes in prices.

The Biden administration reviewed the situation in Afghanistan, where hundreds of Americans remain trapped, where women are being raped and beaten and forced to wear burkas, where former US allies are being executed, and tartly protested that there were not enough women in senior roles the newly formed government.

Fox News was shooting helicopter video footage of ten thousand illegal migrants swarming the border in Del Rio, Texas, so Biden quickly leapt into action and ordered the airspace over the border crossing closed to civilian aircraft so we can’t see any more video.

Biden praised antibody treatments to save the lives of those infected with COVID, but then he changed the allocation of those life-saving treatments from ‘states have the most sick people get the most treatments’ to ‘red states who have governors that I don’t like get less allocation’.

Nancy Pelosi said, yes, yes, China is committing genocide, and oppressing Hong Kong, and being militarily aggressive, and more, but the important thing is that we can work with them on Climate Change, so it’s all good.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff had calls with the Chinese Army promising to warn them in the event of a US attack. And also, that he usurped the authority of the President by ordering that all military actions be approved by him, not the President.

The rich don’t have to wear masks while at a charity ball, but the servant help does have to wear masks. Also, the Mayor of San Francisco does not have to wear a mask. Because, reasons.

AOC wore a dress made by 'an oppressed woman of color' that was emblazoned with 'tax the rich' to a $35,000 a plate fund raiser. The 'oppressed woman of color' dressmaker is married to an heir to the Seagram's fortune, and she currently owes $135,000 in back taxes

Biden is going home to Delaware again this weekend, reason unspecified. And why not? Things are going so well!

You're Not Gonna Like What comes next

There are a lot of people out there trying to divide Americans and undermine the institutions and norms that bind us together.

The family, the church, the schools, the rule of law, Free Speech, free elections, limited government, civil society, and a free press are all foundational elements of our nation.  Destroy enough of them and the whole system collapses.

The church and family collapsed years ago.  Schools have been in a steep decline since the creation of the Department of Education. 

We are currently witnessing the destruction of the rest of our institutions.

The Rule of Law is dead.  When your political affiliation dictates the legal action and outcomes against you we cannot reply on the rule of law.  We have entered the era of the Rule of Men.  This power is fun when your side is in control.  You can look away when the FBI falsifies documents.  You can chuckle when 75 year old Trump associates are raided and railroaded.  You might even grin when the charges are dropped against rioters on your side and the opposing rioters are detained indefinitely without charges.   You might even think that its fun to impeach a President over policy differences while ignoring blatant crimes committed by your favored candidate.  But you won’t like it as much when the tables are turned. 

Free Speech is dead.  The government and Big Tech are conspiring to silence speech they do not like while the traditional defenders of individual liberties cheer them on.  Stories that are damaging to the powerful are squashed.  People that speak out are banned and banished.   

Free elections are on life support. Ballot harvesting, mail in voting, and many other schemes make fraud possible on a scale that was never before possible.  Even if the reports of fraud are overstated, why are the results of audits being hidden?  Where are the records? Why is no one asking questions about statistically impossible voting data?   Losing faith in the election results in fatal to the American experiment.

Limited Government is THE founding principle of the Constitution.  The entire document lays out the limited, enumerated powers of the Federal government.  That concept is dead.  The Federal government has unlimited, arbitrary power.  The IRS decides who gets to organize political groups and who does not.  The CDC decides if landlords can collect rent.  The OSHA decides what medical treatments you must receive.  The government can ‘pass’ laws that no one voted for using parliamentary tricks and legerdemain.    The ATF can arbitrarily change rules to make millions of law-abiding citizens into felons.  The Army Corps of Engineers claims control over every puddle and pond in the country with no legal authority to do so.   The Congress has stopped passing laws and simply votes on massive spending bills that no one can read before they are passed.  The President claims unlimited power through Executive Order.   We live in a dictatorship of the Bureaucracy.

Civil society is on its death bed.  We no longer respect each other.  We no longer see each other as fellow Americans.  We actively hate each other.  The outpouring of invective when people die is appalling.  The fact that some Americans wish other Americans dead simply because they have different opinions.   The institutions that allowed us to come together across political lines are all dead or dying. 

The Free Press is not only dead, its zombie corpse is actively trying to destroy all the other foundational structures in America.   Trust in the press is near zero.  They have  gone from slanting the news to pure propaganda.  They used to influence public opinion by covering certain stories and downplaying others.  Now they simply lie about everything.  From Russia gate, to the Covington School kids, to Kids in Cages, to whipping Haitians, every story peddled by the press is a brazen lie.   They not only do not serve their Constitutional role as a check on political corruption, they are actively aiding and abetting that corruption.  Does anyone honestly believe that Hunter Biden’s paintings  selling to anonymous buyers is not worthy of investigative reporting?

You can’t run a country this way.  The ties that bind us together are broken or severely frayed. 

If you are cheering for the people that are destroying our country, well, you aren’t going to like what comes next.
